How do I get my new goods?
Once your order is placed and paid in full, it will be processed within two (2) working days and handed over to a courier or the post office, if need be, for delivery. We will confirm delivery details by supplying a tracking number once packed and dispatched on request.
Free delivery is offered on all orders over R1000,00 and not exceeding 15 kg (actual or volumetric) in weight; that falls within our preferred courier company’s delivery range. Courier delivery is door-to-door, and if you are unsure about your area, please send us an email to email@example.com and we will gladly find out if our courier delivers to your area.
Should you live in an outlying area, a fee of R70,00 will be charged for delivery. An outlying area is normally an area not found close to the main city centres.
A delivery fee of R120,00 will be charged on all orders with a value of less than R1000,00 and not exceeding 15 kg (actual or volumetric weight)
An additional fee of R60,00 could be charged on all orders where the total weight of the parcel is equal to or exceeding 15 kg (actual or volumetric weight), irrespective of the order value. You will be sent an email notification of this, and confirmation of payment will release the said goods.
Deliveries to very remote areas, which are not serviced by our usual courier, will be delivered via the Post Office, and a tracking number will be provided.
Deliveries to major city centres will take 3-5 working days, and in Western Cape areas, normally 2-3 working days once packed and dispatched. If the courier has attempted to deliver the parcel twice and has been unable to do so due to the residence/business being closed or vacant, you will be charged a re-delivery fee.
All goods are packed and dispatched as soon as we have received the order and payment has been confirmed. Delivery via courier door-to-door takes place Monday to Friday during office hours only. Orders can be shipped in 2 or more parcels due to logistics and timing constraints, but generally, all items are shipped together in one package. While our couriers normally deliver within the timeframe specified, these times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Under no circumstances will Sam and Molly be held liable for any late deliveries for any reason whatsoever. We will do our utmost best to ensure that goods are packed and dispatched in a timely manner. Should a problem with delivery creep in via the couriers or any other provider, we will do our best to track your goods and get them delivered to you as fast as possible.
All orders are subject to stock availability. We reserve the right to cancel any order for which payment has already been received. Although this is highly unusual, this may happen if the stock is unavailable, unexpectedly sold out, or damaged in store or for any other reason beyond our control.
Should we have to refund your money, which we will do our best not to do, we will refund your payment within ten (10) business days, with no penalties to you.
All our products in transit are insured for a maximum value of R1000,00. Neither Sam and Molly nor any of our appointed couriers will be liable for any losses relating to orders (or parts thereof) that are damaged or lost in transit exceeding the value of R1000,00. Additional delivery insurance may be purchased, and we need to be informed before the goods are dispatched. Additional fees will apply.
